Please advise by email to give you a code for the discount. Day 1: Arrival in Cusco – City tour (half-day) TreXperience will pick you up from the airport in Cusco and transfer you to the hotel. Afternoon City Tour visiting Plaza de Armas, important streets, Koricancha, Sacsayhuaman, and the 4 ruins. Spend the night in Cusco. Day 2: Sacred Valley – Maras Moray – Aguas Calientes (Full day) After Breakfast in your hotel, your tour guide will pick you up at 8:00 am to drive to the Sacred Valley and visit Awancancha, Pisaq Market, Maras, Moray, Salineras, Ollantaytambo, and finally, take the train to Aguas Calientes and spend the night in a hotel. Day 3: Machu Picchu – Cusco (Full day) Board the first buses to Machu Picchu to enjoy the sunrise. Your guide will show you the best of Machu Picchu on a 3-4 hour guided tour, then, you can explore or hike Huayna Picchu or Montaña. Later in the afternoon, board the Panoramic trains to return. Day 4: Transfer out (At any time) After Breakfast in your hotel, you will be transferred to the airport or bus station. Huayna Picchu Mountain – The ticket is $75 per person. We will pick you up from the Cusco airport and transfer you to your hotel in the center of Cusco, where you will check-in and spend the rest of the day relaxing (we recommend arriving early in the morning in Cusco). Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel at 1.30 p.m. and take you to explore Cusco, which was the capital of the great Inca Empire, surrounded by the majestic Andes Mountains. Visit the Plaza de Armas, the most important streets and neighborhoods, the famous 12-angled stone street, Loreto Street, Koricancha, and a drive to the upper part to visit Sacsayhuaman, Qenko, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay. We will return to the city at approximately 5:30 p.m. At 8:00 am, you will be collected from your hotel and driven to the Awanacancha Alpaca center, where we will learn more about the differences between llamas, alpacas, vicunas, and guanacos. Next, we travel for 20 minutes to Taray, the Sacred Valley’s viewpoint, and continue to Pisaq, where we explore and bargain in the indigenous market. We continue our journey through the Sacred Valley to Urubamba, where we enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant. After a delicious lunch, we will continue to the circular terraces of Moray to learn about ancient Inca farming techniques; visit Maras and Salineras, where locals have harvested salt since Inca times; and finally drive to Ollantaytambo, “The Last Living Inca Town,” an ancient Inca village where we will observe some of the finest examples of Inca architecture. After dinner, we will board a train for Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu pueblo), where we will spend the night in a hotel. On our final day, we will wake up very early in order to prepare for the most amazing day at Machu Picchu—the Lost City of the Incas. After breakfast, we will head directly to the queue and wait for one of the first buses to arrive at Machu Picchu before sunrise. Your tour guide will take you on a 2–3 hour comprehensive guided tour of the city, exploring the best terraces, temples, and palaces before leaving you to explore on your own or climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain (must be booked as far in advance as possible). Your guide will explain how to take a bus from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes for lunch and later board the Panoramic trains and bus back to Cusco, arriving at approximately 7.30 pm.
