Student Discount: Day 1: Airport Transfer—Cusco City Tour We will pick you up from the airport in Cusco and transfer you to your hotel in Cusco city. 13:00pm: City tour of Cusco, visiting the Plaza de Armas, Koricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Quenqo, Pucapucara, Tambomachay. Day 2: Sacred Valley Tour (full day): Pisac, Salineras, Moray, and Ollantaytambo 8:00 am pick-up and explore Awanacancha Alpaca Center, Taray Mirador, Pisaq, Urubamba, Maras, Moray, Salineras, and Ollantyatambo. Evening train to Aguas Calientes town to spend the night in a hotel. Day 3: Visit Machu Picchu—Cusco After breakfast in your hotel, board one of the first buses to Machu Picchu. After a guided tour of the citadel for about 3 hours, take the afternoon panoramic train back to Cusco. Day 4: Humantay Lake Tour Wake up early and drive to the Salkantay area to enjoy a full day with picnic meals exploring Humantay Lake. Day 5: Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley. Montaña Machu Picchu – Also called Machu Picchu Mountain, is the highest mountain and climbing takes almost 3 hours, the cost is $75 per person. [images-itinerary] Day 1: Transfer from Cusco Airport—City Tour of Cusco: Upon arrival at the airport, we will pick you up and transfer you to any hotel or Airbnb in Cusco City. In the afternoon at 13:30 pm, meet at the lobby of your hotel with our tour guide, you will explore the Plaza de Armas, the most famous streets, Koricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Quenqo, Tambomachay, and Puca Pucara. Day 2: Sacred Valley: Pisac, Urubamba, Salineras, Moray, and Ollantaytambo. We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 8:00 am and drive towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The first stop is Awanacancha where we visit the alpaca farm, next is Mirador of Taray where we will have the best view of the Sacred Valley. Later, we continue to the town of Pisaq to visit the indigenous market and then drive to Moray circular terraces, Salineras of Maras, and Urubamba where we have lunch at a local restaurant. The last place to visit is Ollantaytambo before boarding the train to Aguas Calientes and spend the night in a hotel. Day 3: Visit Machu Picchu—Cusco After early breakfast in your hotel, we will board the first buses to Machu Picchu, upon arrival at the gate, you need to show the original passport and the tickets we give you. You will have a guided tour of the citadel for about 3 hours exploring the best of this ancient citadel. After, you will have some free time to explore on your own or take the extra hikes to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Montaña (Not Included). After exploring Machu Picchu, you will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes, Have lunch (not included) and board the afternoon panoramic trains back to Ollantaytambo, and bus back to Cusco. The arrival time is around 7:30 pm back in your hotel. You need to book a hotel in Cusco. Day 4: Humantay Lake Tour We will collect you from your hotel in Cusco at 4:30am and drive towards the Salkantay area, upon arrival at Soraypamapa basecamp, we will enjoy a delicious picnic breakfast prepared by your trekking chef. The hike starts with a slow ascend to the Humantay lake for 2 hours, upon arrival at the turquoise color lake, you will have time to unwind, walk around and take in the beautiful vistas of this amazing place. Then, you will hike down for another 2 hours to the trailhead where our trekking chef will be waiting with delicious lunch prepared with local products. Return to Cusco by bus arriving approximately around 6:pm, and book a hotel in Cusco city. Day 5: Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 5:am and drive towards the Ausangate area, upon arrival at the trailhead, your trekking chef will provide you with a freshly prepared breakfast. After breakfast the hike starts with a 2-hour hike uphill to the top of Rainbow Mounatin, upon arrival at the top, you will be rewarded with an amazing 360° view and the amazing colored mountain. After enjoying the beauty of this place, you will hike for another 25 minutes to the Red Valley, a rarely visited place that will take your breath away. After enjoying the amazing vistas, you will return to the trailhead where the chef will be waiting with an amazing lunch, and then return to Cusco by bus. The arrival time to Cusco is around 6:pm.
